April is HLF Month at HDSB!

HLF Month is an opportunity for schools and the community to raise awareness and funds to eliminate the financial challenges that prevent students from accessing a complete education.
HLF Month unites schools, organizations, and individuals in activities, challenges, and events designed to support our mission of assisting students in the Halton District School Board (HDSB). By addressing crucial needs such as school supplies, food, clothing, and learning resources, we empower students to succeed and reach their full potential.
As the only charity solely dedicated to the HDSB, HLF wants to continue saying ‘YES’ to every request to support students.
Schools, organizations or individuals are invited to get involved in HLF Month by arranging an HLF challenge or other activity during – or leading up to — the month of April. (More ideas in the Teacher Toolkit.)
The highlight of HLF Month is Students in the Spotlight on Wednesday, April 30th — an opportunity for students from across the HDSB to showcase their talents in singing, dancing and more.
