The Monsieur Lachance Award for French Immersion

$250 Award and accompanying certificate created to recognize and promote a student who has embraced the French Immersion program at T.A. Blakelock.  Not necessarily for the higher achiever, this Award is for a student who has completed the program and has had a positive impact in the whole program.  (French core students are not eligible)

  • Eligibility

    • Grade 12 student enrolled in the French Immersion Program at TA Blakelock HS

  • Criteria for Selection of Winner

    • Grade average of B or higher
    • Enrolled in the French Immersion Program (French Core students are not eleigible for this Award)
    • Demonstraeted love of the language, be outgoing, demonstrated ownership in their own success

  • Judging/Selection

    • Eligible students will be selected annually by French ImmersionTeachers at TA Blakelock.
