HLF Program Unites Prosperity One with McKenzie Smith Bennett PS

For the third year in a row, the Prosperity One Community Development Fund (CDF) has partnered with Halton Learning Foundation as part of the “Adopt A School Program”.  As a result, McKenzie Smith Bennett Public School in Acton was the recipient of a $2,500 grant to support both their breakfast program and the Recess Revival Initiative.

Sharon French, principal of MSB remarked, “the support of the Halton Learning Foundation and their partner, Prosperity ONE, helps us to make a positive difference in the learning environment.  Feeding the brain, and exercising the body enables everyone to do their best learning.  The wonderful volunteers who help out feel the support and encouragement.  This is the true spirit of generosity that ensures MSB is a great place to be!  Many thanks!”

“We’re so pleased to see how our help over the past three years has really worked to benefit the students at McKenzie Smith Bennett School,” said Mike Shepherd, President and CEO of Prosperity ONE Credit Union.  “The expansion of our funding to MSB’s Recess Revival through purchasing new equipment is another way to help students learn through play, exercise and nutrition”.
