The Halton Learning Foundation is currently seeking members to join our volunteer board. We welcome influencers, connectors, business and community leaders who can use their influence to open doors to new partners, decision makers and individuals who passionately understand that all children deserve to fully participate in their education, regardless of financial means.
To provide HDSB students with opportunities to reach their potential through financial support that removes educational barriers and increases equity.
The ideal candidates:
Potential candidates ideally represent a community within Halton Region and have a history of community involvement, combined with skills and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Human Resources, Law, board governance, partnership development or philanthropy. Additionally, you should have the passion to commit to and support an ambitious new three-year strategic plan.
Directors must be at least 18 and a resident of Ontario.
